Since our founding in 2013, Phoenix Sustainability Initiative has grown in members, project groups, and impact.
The Beginnings
PSI's earliest logo in 2015 under the name "Phoenix Energy Initiative."
Phoenix Sustainability Initiative was founded in 2013 under the name "Phoenix Initiative." Our first president, Frederic Repond, sought to create a student initiative on campus that could unite various academic backgrounds under the flag of unique and sustainable community service. Our name shifted to "Phoenix Energy Initiative" in 2015. Check out our Archived Project Groups to learn about our first initiatives!

In 2016, Phoenix Energy Initiative merged with the Green Campus Initiative to become Phoenix Sustainability Initiative.
